Everyone Breaks

Everyone Breaks

Selena’s heels echoed in the empty back stairway of Sony Studios, the home of The Voice. She had tried coming in the front, but too many people had recognized her. Her bodyguards had quickly managed to get her around the back of the building, shoved her into the back entrance, and basically abandoned her. Now, she was running up the stairs as fast as her strappy heels could take her.

By the time she reached the top, she was completely out of breath. She swung open the door and was met by two very confused security guards.

“Hi, I’m looking for Justin?” She smoothed her hair with her free hand.

“How did you even get up here, Miss?” One of the guards asked as he started to move towards her.

“Whoa, whoa, whoa,” she said, backing away so quickly that she almost fell back down the stairs. “I’m Selena Gomez, I’m looking for my boyfriend. Just ask anyone here, please just tell me where he is.”

The two men gave each other a sideways glance, but still would not budge.

            “Ok, fine. Is Scooter here?”

“Miss, you’re going to have to go back down the stairs, or else we’re going to be forced to call some back-up.”

Selena was about to protest again when she saw an arm reach through the wall of bodies blocking her way, take her by the hand, and pull her through. The next thing she knew, she was being rushed down a long hallway lined with personnel. She barely had time to identify the face that was Scooter.

“Jesus, where have you been?” His hand was on her back pushing her down the hall at an alarming speed.

“I’m sorry, there was a huge crowd.” She was having an extremely hard time walking so fast in her shoes and almost fell flat on her face. “Oh my god, Scooter calm down. I’m gonna kill myself in these shoes.” He looked at her briefly, but kept walking at his speed, dragging her along with him. “What’s wrong?” Again, no answer. She abruptly stopped in her tracks and he kept walking.

            “Scooter. What’s wrong?”

He knew that she wasn’t moving so he turned around and walked back to where she was standing. He stood right in front of her and looked around to make sure no one was listening. Her heart starting slamming against her chest. What was going on?

“He’s freaking out,” Scooter said under his breath.

“What do you mean he’s freaking out? Is he ok?”

“No, physically he’s fine.” She let out the breath she hadn’t realized she’d been holding in. “He’s just so nervous. I don’t know what’s wrong with him. He doesn’t wanna go on stage.”

Selena tore her eyes away from his stare. She had no idea why Justin was nervous to perform for the first time in his life, but she did know that everyone was depending on her to help him. She had gotten a call from him that he just “needed her there”. He was set to go on in an hour and had no intention of doing so.

            “Alright, where is he?”

She took a deep breath as she watched her own hand slowly push the door open. There was no one there. Then she looked behind the door and saw a couch that had been pushed into a corner.

“Jay?” She whispered. She quietly closed the door behind her and sat down at the very edge of the couch. His eyes were glazed over, staring into space. His hair was dark and messy with sweat so she reached her hand out to smooth it. At the touch of her hand he closed his eyes and his whole body visibly relaxed. He pushed himself over so his head could rest on her lap. She massaged his head and ran her hands down his back for a few minutes, and his breathing gradually became calmer.

“What’s wrong, baby?” She cooed as she leaned her head down to kiss him on the nose. He opened his eyes.

            “I don’t wanna,” he croaked.

“Are you okay?” She felt his forehead with the back of her hand like her mom always did for her, but he didn’t feel any warmer than he normally did.

He reached up and took her hand from his head and brought it to his lips. “I just need you,” he mumbled into her fingers.

“Well, I’m here.” She saw a hint of a smile play across his lips. He continued to basically make out with her hand.

“I like you…” He burst into a fit of giggles as he made her fingers tickle his chin.

“Oh my god Justin, are you drunk?”

He immediately pulled himself upright on the couch and pushed his face right up against her ear. “No, I am not drunk.”

She turned her head and they were nose to nose. “So what the hell is going on right now?” Suddenly, the warmth of his lips was gone from her ear and he was standing right in front of her.

“Hmm what is going on? I don’t know, babe, what is going on? I have a new song. I learned some choreography. It’s some dope-ass shit, let me tell you. All these people are telling me that when this record drops, people are gonna really respect the Biebs, you know? I am gonna kill it with this album, babe. Kill it.” He was pacing back and forth now, punching his left fist into his right hand like he was ready to knock someone out. Selena kept her place on the couch and silently prayed that it wasn’t her.

“I’m gonna make it big this time, Selena. I didn’t get it big enough before. This time, we going big.”

Justin,” She had gotten up from her spot on the couch and was trying to catch up with his pacing but he ignored her. At this point, he had run out of things to say and had resorted to just running around the room. He slammed into walls and kicked over furniture and ripped his whole entire wardrobe off of its rack. And the whole time Selena just stood in the center of the room, completely powerless. She couldn’t stop him when he was like this. He had to just let it out, no matter how much money it ended up costing him.

And then he was up in her face. He put both of his sweaty hands on each of her bare arms and grabbed them tight.

“And what if I don’t, Sel?” He was quiet now, almost too scared to hear his own voice. “What if Justin Bieber…” His eyes glanced down quickly and then returned to hers. “What if Justin Bieber…Fucks. Up.”

The room was silent except for his heavy breathing that Selena could feel all over her skin.

“Everything ok in there?” Scooter yelled through the walls.

“Yeah, we’re fine,” Selena called back.

            “Ok, fifteen minute warning.”

“Justin Bieber doesn’t fuck up.” Selena whispered. “My boyfriend is absolutely perfect.” And then she was kissing him. She didn’t know why, but she was kissing him. Her hands were tangled in his sweaty hair and all she knew at that moment was that she needed him to kiss her back.

He immediately took her cue and responded. Who knew that this rage could turn into such an amazing passion? Their mouths couldn’t move fast enough against each other and there was just so much skin to touch. Justin moved his hands down to her butt and squeezed until she let out a moan. He grabbed her with both of his hands and slowly led her back to the couch.

Selena stumbled backwards as he pushed himself into her. She pulled away for just a few seconds and his mouth immediately went to her neck. She couldn’t help it, this time her moan was even louder. “We have ten minutes,” she panted as she cradled his head in her hands, guiding it where she wanted it to go.

“Mmmm,” he responded as his mouth moved down to her now bare breast.

“Jay, we have to make this fast.” He responded by unbuttoning his pants and throwing them to the floor, never breaking the contact between his lips and her skin. They were almost at the couch.

“Ten minutes,” she tried to talk some sense into him but they were obviously at the point of no return. Her warning came out as a moan and then her naked body was on a dirty couch and his perfect body was everywhere on her. She heard the crinkle of the condom wrapper and the heat between her legs exploded. He hovered at her entrance.

“Selena,” his eyes blazed through hers, both of them wanting the other so bad. “I’m gonna have to fuck you.” She nodded incoherently. “No, babe. I have to be on stage in ten minutes. I’m going to fuck you. Hard.” Her heart was beating everywhere in her body and he felt it too. This time, he took her nod as an acceptance.

He slammed into her. She let out a scream but his hand was covering her mouth before anyone could hear it. “Shhhh,” He said through gritted teeth, as he slowly pulled out. She had forgotten everyone was waiting for him. Everyone was listening. There was no way she could do this quietly.

He didn’t want to hurt her; he couldn’t hurt her. He eased back in slowly, his hand still covering her mouth. But she quickly bucked her hips up to meet him. She grabbed his head in her hands and brought it close to her fiery eyes. “I thought you were gonna fuck me.”

A fire exploded in him and they moved together like they never had before. Neither of them had experienced anything so exhilarating before. They were both so overwhelmed that they had to cover each other’s mouths to hold in the cries. It was hot and beautiful and was over in what seemed like a matter of minutes.

Justin knew he had to get dressed, but he collapsed on top of her for just a second, taking in the perfect scent and perfect feeling of her body against his. With all the strength she had left, she pushed his body off of hers. “Get dressed. Now.”

They both sprang up and put their clothes on with lightening speed. When Selena went to pick up her shirt, she realized she had never taken off her heels. She looked over at Justin and caught a glimpse of his adorable smirk as he pulled his head through his t-shirt.

When he finished getting dressed, he slowly walked over to her and kissed her with everything he had left.

“Justin you better be out this door within the next thirty seconds!” Scooter screamed.

“I’m sorry I had to do that,” He whispered.

“Do not apologize for that, Justin,” Selena laughed. “I enjoyed it just as much as you did,” she admitted, obviously embarrassed.

“Oh really?” His teasing smile made her blush. He smiled at his innocent adorable girlfriend who was not as innocent as everyone really thought she was. “We’ll have to do it more often then.” She laughed and reached up her hand to fix his messy hair.

“Go show the world, JBiebs,” she giggled as he turned away from her to walk towards the door.

“No, no, no. My girlfriend does not call me JBiebs. That’s weird.” He stopped at the door and turned around one last time. “I love you, you know that?” And without waiting for an answer he opened the door and walked outside.

Selena laughed to herself as she heard Scooter screaming at him and saying that he could have lost his job. She heard cries of celebration and slaps on the back. It all vanished into the distance as Justin’s team made it to the stage. When the echoes had died down, Selena was still standing in the center of the dressing room, her skin burning where Justin had touched her. Everywhere. She didn’t know what had gotten into him, but she did know that she loved every single part of him. No matter how crazy.
